Description
Wet vanilla refers to fresh vanilla beans that have been recently harvested and have not undergone the full drying and curing process required to produce dry vanilla beans. Wet vanilla beans are typically green, pliable, and retain much of their natural moisture content. These beans are highly aromatic but less intense in flavor compared to fully cured and dried vanilla beans.
Wet vanilla is often processed further to create products like vanilla extract or vanilla paste. Due to its higher moisture content, wet vanilla is more perishable and requires immediate processing or preservation.
